Our 4130 Aircraft Quality Alloy Steel Sheet is available in both Annealed and Normalized conditions. This material is ideal for applications requiring a high strength, low weight alloy. This material offers a great mix of strength and toughness. The machinability and weldability of 4130 is good. The alloy may be welded using any commercial method. Typically the material is used in structural applications where strength to weight ratios play a factor.
